LEVEL THREE DIPLOMA IN BEAUTY THERAPY (MASSAGE) 

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy (Massage) is a comprehensive qualification specifically designed to develop practical beauty therapy  skills such as; face and body electrotherapy and body  massage. This course provides in-depth training in a range of therapeutic massage treatments, including Swedish massage, aromatherapy, and hot stone therapy, equipping learners with the knowledge and expertise needed to work confidently in a professional beauty or spa environment. Within this qualification learners will develop a sound  knowledge of health and safety, client care and  communication, and also to learn about IT and data handling  and contributing to the effective running of a beauty therapy  business. This qualification is based on the national occupational standards for massage therapy and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a massage therapist. Learners will receive a VTCT accredited qualification recognised across the world. This qualification will develop learners' knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, the history and origins of massage therapies and how to effectively contribute to the overall running of a business. Learners will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with clients, successfully promote and retail products, whilst also providing a variety of massage therapies. In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills, their awareness of environmental sustainability and their commercial skills, all of which are valued highly by employers. Problem solving and research skills will also be developed.
