About The Beauty Guild and accredited training coursesGuild Training International (GTi) Courses and accredited courses have been accredited by The guild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd, the UK trade body for beauty therapists and salons. These courses have been written to and assessed against UK National Occupational Standards (NOS) and are recognised in the UK and interationally. GTi and accredited guild courses are acceptable to Guild memebership and insurances and accepted by all major UK insurance providers.

What is a GTi course?GTi courses are industry recognised and accredited by The Beauty Guild. All GTi course are written by industry experts to the highest standards and comply with the relevant National Occupational Standards.

Am I eligible to do an accredited GTi course?Accredited GTi courses are available for beginners and existing therapists looking to gain a new skill or CPD points. GTi courses are perfectly designed, incorporating practical, flexible home online learning. All practical elements of courses are completed at Y.O.U.R Beauty School over 1-2 days, all online elements are accessible remotely; you'll need access to a laptop or a PC.

What do I need to do to complete the course?When enrolled onto our course(s), you attend Y.O.U.R Beauty School to complete a face-to-face practical session spanning over 1 or 2 days where required. To access online course, all non-members of The Beauty Guild are required to become a student member at an addaitional cost of £25 directly payable to The Guild. Once confimed as a student member, students will gain access to the online section of their course(s) to complete remotely, all you need is access to a laptop or PC.

What can I do with a GTi qualification?The accredited GTi courses are available in 16 of the most popular treatments, plus 8 business and core knowledge courses available as fully online courses. All GTi and Guild Accredited courses are accepted for insurance purposes by the Guild and other main insurance providers. As the UK’s largest trade body, the Guild will only accept private training that has been Guild Accredited. Once sucessfully completed, all accredited courses enable students to obtain insurance (restrictions may apply) to work as a self employed therapist or nail technician or gain employment in a salon.

GTi practical coursesOur practical courses are delivered by tutors who are qualified in the subject area they are teaching and hold a recognised teaching certificate. All tutors of GTi courses are current members of The Guild. The theory section of your course is accessable online. Read on for more details.

How do I access online courses?All students are required to join the Beauty Guild as a student member, there is an additonal cost of £25* which is paid and managed directly by The Beauty Guild. Once you enrol on a course through Y.O.U.R Beauty School, The Guild will contact you via email in order to set up your memebership and then activate your access to the online course you've sign up to. To access and complete your online courses you'll need access to a laptop or PC, where you will be fully supported online. *Please note: .your student membership lasts for 3 months. If you are new to The Guild, you will be enrooled and required to complete the GTi Professional Standards online course free of charge (usually £58.80).

Can a GTi course help me increase my CPD points?You can gain extra CPD via GTi course, they have been specially designed to enable students to obtain CDP points specific to the type of treatment you are awarded.

Do I get a certificate once I complete an accredited GTi Course?Yes. Upon completion The Beauty Guild will issue you with an electronic (PDF) certificate. Students also have the option to buy printed GTi paper certificates at £15+Vat each.
