Waxing is an excellent addition to any treatment menu and provides repeat business as it is an essential maintenance option for many clients. The GTi Waxing Course meets the Habia National Occupational Standards and covers the various types of hair removal, anatomy and physiology, skin disorders and diseases, contra-actions and contra-indications, reception, consultation, ventilation, technique, and aftercare.

Course Objectives:

 

  • Maintain safe and effective methods when providing waxing services

  • Consult, plan and prepare for the waxing service

  • Carry out waxing service

  • Provide aftercare advice

What you need to know:
 

  • Student will perform practical work on each other

  • All students are required to become a Beauty Guild GTi Student Member at an additional cost of £25 

  • Upon successful completion of your course an electronic certificate will be issued by the Beauty Guild
